About this calculator
Hero star upgrades consume dedicated shards. The cost to climb from one star (or sub-level) to another is the same for every hero · pick a portrait for context and the correct unlock amount when you still need to recruit them.
Use Shards needed when you know your target: set current and target stars (click star points for fragments), then compare the total to owned shards.
Use How far can I go? when you only know your current stars and inventory: enter owned shards to see the highest stage you can reach and how many shards are left over.
Quick tips
- Max is 5★. Going 0★ → 5★ costs 1,065 dedicated shards, not counting unlock.
- Unlock is usually 10 shards (exceptions: Rita 40, Sebastian 20). In How far can I go?, unlock is paid from your budget first.
- Browse heroes in the hero database while you plan which stars to push next.
